I’m absolutely amazed at how much time I’m saving on a weekly basis using AI for my list building. Say I want to call ±20 decision makers in data across Belgian university hospitals. In the past, I had to:
- Open LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Select lead filters
- Create a lead list
- Import the leads into Salesforce using either Lusha or ZoomInfo
- Manually verify whether the phone numbers were correctly filled
This process took about 1 hour to get 20 high quality leads with verified titles and contact details.
Nowadays, I just write:
Prospect 20 data decision makers at the 4 top Belgian university medical centres, scrape phone numbers, verify titles via LinkedIn.
That’s it. Nothing more. AI leverages its connected tools (LinkedIn, Lusha, Sumble, ZoomInfo) intelligently, and generates a list of 20 contacts that are directly imported into Salesforce.
I then create a new Salesforce contact list - and I’m done. Typing out the command takes less than 10 seconds, the automated workflow about 10 minutes.
What used to take me hours every week is now just a line of text I write at the start of a boring meeting. And by the time the meeting is finished, I have a high quality list of prospects to call.
Herein lies the power of AI: it’s automating the administrative parts of my job allowing me to spend more time on deeply human activities (talking to people, building POVs, reading books1).
Yes, I actually read books on the clock now and still hit quota. ↩︎
